Construction Superintendent – K-12, DSA, School Projects - Summary
- Lead field operations for a landmark $110M+ K-12 school construction project
- Manage all phases, including demolition, grading, utilities, and new building construction
- Oversee a team of superintendents and field crews, coordinating daily activities and safety compliance
- Ensure all work meets DSA, quality, and schedule standards
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and assistant superintendents
Duties & Responsibilities
- Direct the day-to-day operations of a complex, multi-phase school construction build
- Supervise and mentor a team of 2–3 superintendents and field crews
- Oversee demolition, mass grading, installation of utilities, and all ground-up construction activities
- Monitor and enforce strict compliance with DSA regulations, safety policies, and quality standards
- Manage project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all phases
- Coordinate site logistics, subcontractor activities, and material deliveries
- Partner with project management, engineering teams, and assistant superintendents to achieve project goals
- Facilitate communication among stakeholders, problem-solve issues, and maintain detailed project documentation
- Conduct regular site inspections and safety meetings

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10–15+ years of superintendent experience on $100M+ projects, preferably in K-12 or educational construction
- Demonstrated leadership in managing multiple superintendents and field crews
- Extensive knowledge of DSA and K-12 school construction regulations and best practices
- Proven expertise in structural steel, masonry, and complex ground-up builds
- Consistent career history with recognized general contractors
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
