Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead all field activities for assigned healthcare construction projects, ensuring timely, safe, and profitable completion.
- Direct on-site supervision of superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and craft labor, fostering a collaborative and productive work culture.
- Coordinate closely with project managers to oversee the total field construction effort and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Interpret construction drawings and recommend effective construction methods and equipment.
- Provide technical guidance on complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems common in healthcare environments.
- Develop and maintain site logistics plans in collaboration with project managers.
- Oversee site testing, inspections, and quality control measures to guarantee compliance with design documents and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular subcontractor and project meetings to support effective communication and problem-solving.
- Implement and enforce rigorous safety and health management programs, aiming for an injury-free jobsite.
- Identify and mitigate safety hazards through daily jobsite walks and reporting.
- Manage and maintain detailed short-term project schedules, ensuring all activities occur on or ahead of schedule.
- Monitor labor hours, material costs, and review trade contractor payment applications in partnership with the project manager.
- Prepare and submit daily superintendent reports documenting progress, site conditions, and project impacts.
- Maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and project partners to ensure client satisfaction and effective collaboration.
- Mentor, train, and support field superintendents and engineers, fostering a culture of professional development and teamwork.
- Conduct physical inspections and ensure work aligns with contract documents, specifications, and quality standards.
- Work in dynamic construction environments, traversing active sites, climbing ladders, and adapting to varying weather and site conditions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically managing large healthcare or hospital projects.
- OSHA Certification and First Aid/CPR Certification required; ICRA Certification preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with complex healthcare projects and familiarity with hospital infrastructure systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and construction project management software.
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and delegate tasks appropriately.
- Ability to work on-site and in an office setting; must be able to traverse construction sites and perform physical inspections.
