Duties & Responsibilities
- Supervise daily field activities to ensure project milestones and schedules are met, maintaining continuous oversight of all work.
- Develop and manage short-interval, look-ahead schedules to communicate upcoming events, proactively address issues, and facilitate solutions.
- Implement and monitor project site safety plans, fostering a culture focused on safety, health, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate all construction work to ensure orderly, deliberate, and quality-driven progress in alignment with contract documents and industry standards.
- Establish and uphold all dimensional controls for the project, including engaging third-party survey and layout professionals when needed.
- Verify all installations for quality, ensuring work is plumb, level, and meets or exceeds expectations.
- Obtain necessary inspections and thoroughly document quality aspects of the physical work.
- Ensure project compliance with all contractual terms, legal requirements, and community standards.
- Administer client-specific programs, including landlord/site rules, safety initiatives, and site security protocols.
- Conduct and participate in pre-construction, progress, and staff meetings to maintain project momentum.
- Manage self-performed activities, ensuring work stays within budget constraints.
- Oversee changes in project scope, ensuring the use of current documentation to prevent rework.
- Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and agreements, ensuring proactive and consistent fulfillment of all terms.
- Oversee the punch list and project closeout process, ensuring timely and thorough completion.
- Maintain daily documentation, including timecards, field reports, schedule updates, and correspondence.
- Collaborate with supporting work groups, such as client internal departments, vendors, and security personnel.
- Prepare project schedules for proposals, review estimates, assist in proposal development, and participate in interviews as needed.
- Engage in marketing activities and contribute to project acquisition efforts.
- Perform additional duties as required to support the company's objectives and project goals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with tenant improvement (TI) and renovation projects.
- Associate's degree in Construction Management or related field, or Journeyman status in a building trade from an accredited organization, with proven supervisory experience on construction projects.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods for commercial and institutional buildings, including associated site work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software, including spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools, Microsoft Office, and construction-specific applications.
- Current safety credentials, such as OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR certifications.
- Strong construction skills, including sequencing of work, effective project scheduling, project control, and change order management.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, strong communication abilities, and the capacity to resolve complex problems within established systems or through agile approaches as needed.
