Construction Superintendent - Summary
- Supervise and coordinate daily on-site operations for ground-up and TI commercial construction projects.
- Ensure all project milestones and schedules are met while maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day field activities to maintain schedule adherence and project milestone completion.
- Develop and maintain short-interval look-ahead schedules to ensure proactive management of upcoming tasks.
- Implement and enforce the project site safety plan, promoting a culture of safety, health, and cleanliness.
- Coordinate construction activities to ensure orderly and deliberate execution in line with contract documents and industry best practices.
- Establish and manage dimensional controls using third-party survey and layout personnel as required.
- Verify quality of all installations, ensuring work is performed in a craftsmanlike manner.
- Obtain and document all required inspections, maintaining comprehensive records of quality assurance.
- Ensure compliance with all contract terms, legal requirements, and local regulations for each project.
- Administer client-specific programs, including site rules, safety protocols, and security policies.
- Conduct and participate in pre-construction, progress, and project meetings to facilitate clear communication.
- Monitor self-performed work to ensure it aligns with the established project budget and schedule.
- Manage changes in project scope, updating documents and preventing avoidable rework.
- Administer contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and agreements, ensuring consistent compliance with scope and terms.
- Lead the punch list and project closeout process to achieve timely and complete project delivery.
- Maintain accurate daily documentation, including timecards, field reports, and schedule updates.
- Provide prompt and professional communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Assist with project schedules, review estimates, contribute to proposal development, and participate in project interviews.
- Support marketing initiatives and contribute to the acquisition of new projects as required.
- Perform additional duties as needed to advance company goals and project success.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience overseeing tilt-up, ground-up, and TI commercial construction projects.
- Hands-on knowledge of ground-up/TI construction methods and industry standards.
- Experience with automotive dealership builds is a plus.
- Associate's degree in Construction Management or similar field, or Journeyman status in a building trade from an accredited organization, with demonstrated progressive supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive understanding of construction means and methods for commercial and institutional buildings, including site work.
- Proficiency with industry software, including spreadsheets, email, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Current safety credentials: OSHA 30-hour, First Aid, and CPR certification.
