The role involves direct supervision of field operations, labor crews, and subcontractors, ensuring all activities conform to project specifications and regulatory requirements. Duties & Responsibilities- Lead and manage all jobsite activities from project commencement through completion, ensuring operational excellence at every stage.
- Supervise field crews and coordinate subcontractor activities to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards, quality controls, and adherence to construction best practices.
- Conduct regular meetings with subcontractors to review schedules, performance, safety, and quality.
- Develop, maintain, and update project schedules to ensure timely completion within budget constraints.
- Track field productivity, oversee self-performed work, and address Requests for Information (RFIs) and project changes proactively.
- Facilitate clear and consistent communication with project managers, stakeholders, and owners to align field operations with overall project goals.
- Prepare for and participate in project closeout activities, ensuring thorough documentation and smooth turnover.
- Supervise large teams, including up to 300 employees and subcontractors, as required by project scope.
- Maintain a professional, collaborative relationship with all project participants, including public entities and regulatory agencies.

- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven experience overseeing public-sector or educational construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and schedule multiple subcontractors on active job sites.
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction field concepts, industry practices, and procedures.
- Ability to work full-time on active construction sites, which may include job trailers and environments with typical construction activity.
- Experience managing projects for public agencies such as school districts or municipal clients.
- Knowledge of construction delivery methods, including CMAR (Construction Manager at Risk).
- Familiarity with diverse project types—Tilt-Up, Office, Education, Aviation, Medical, Federal/Municipal, Sports & Recreation, Parking Structures, Tenant Improvement, and Renovation.
- Strong skills in constructability reviews, site logistics, and preconstruction planning.
- Proficiency with construction management software (Procore, e-Builder, P6, or similar).
- Working knowledge of MEPF systems, underground utilities, and self-perform concrete work.
- Understanding of integrated building systems (telecommunications, security, AV, fire alarm, EMS, etc.).
