Construction Superintendent - Summary
- Lead and direct daily jobsite activities for multi-family construction projects.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, internal crews, and project managers to ensure seamless project execution.

- Serve as the main point of contact for field staff, owners, inspectors, and stakeholders.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and direct all jobsite activities from project start through completion, ensuring adherence to plans, specifications, and schedules.
- Oversee subcontractors and self-perform crews to maintain project momentum and productivity.
- Monitor and track project schedules, budgets, and performance targets.
- Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to review safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
- Coordinate timely and accurate drawings, documentation, and jobsite reporting.
- Review and address RFIs, delays, and additional work requirements with the project team.
- Communicate daily with foremen, field staff, and stakeholders to resolve jobsite issues.
- Participate in project closeout planning and meetings before project completion.
- Develop strategies to keep projects on or ahead of schedule and within budget constraints.
- Maintain jobsite organization, enforce company procedures, and promote construction best practices.
- Ensure all safety and quality standards are met throughout the duration of the project.
- Oversee and coordinate large teams, potentially up to 100 combined employees and subcontractors, depending on project size and scope.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Superintendent with a commercial general contractor.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects, especially multi-family developments.
- Experience in related construction sectors such as industrial, office, retail, education, healthcare, hospitality, municipal, or tenant improvement is beneficial.
- Strong coordination and scheduling skills with complex construction projects.
- Familiarity with construction scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6) and construction management platforms (e.g., Procore) is preferred.
- Solid understanding of construction field operations, safety procedures, and project workflows.
- Ability to work onsite at active construction locations, including job trailers, and adapt to typical construction noise and activity levels.
