Construction Superintendent - Summary- Lead day-to-day field operations for multi-family construction projects.
- Oversee and coordinate self-perform labor crews and subcontractors.
- Ensure project delivery aligns with specifications, schedule, and budget.
- Maintain project safety and quality standards at all times.
- Act as the primary field contact for project management, owners, and public entities.
- Direct all jobsite activities from project start through completion, ensuring efficient workflow.
- Supervise up to 100 combined employees and subcontractors to meet project objectives.
- Coordinate daily activities with foremen and craftsmen to achieve production goals.
- Conduct weekly on-site meetings with subcontractors to review progress and address concerns.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, ensuring adherence to schedule, safety, and quality standards.
- Manage Requests for Information (RFIs), address delays, and coordinate additional work as needed.
- Ensure all project participants work from the most current and accurate drawings and documents.
- Communicate proactively with project management regarding issues, changes, or delays.
- Represent the company in communication with owners, stakeholders, and public agencies.
- Support project closeout processes and ensure successful project completion.
- Track production of self-performed work, ensuring alignment with budgetary goals.
- Enforce field guidelines and operational procedures to maintain project discipline and consistency.
- Develop and implement strategies to deliver projects on or ahead of schedule and at or under budget.

- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Superintendent with a Commercial General Contractor.
- Demonstrated experience managing multi-family or similar large-scale commercial construction projects.
- Proven ability to coordinate and schedule subcontractors effectively.
- Mountain or high-elevation construction experience preferred.
- Experience with construction scheduling software (P6 preferred).
- Familiarity with Procore or similar project management platforms is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of field concepts, construction practices, and safety procedures.
- Exposure to various project types such as industrial, big-box, office, education, retail, aviation, medical, hospitality, multi-family, government, sports & recreation, parking structures, and tenant improvements is advantageous.
- A highly skilled Construction Superintendent with a proven track record in commercial and multi-family projects.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, able to motivate teams and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a dynamic work setting.
- Technically proficient with construction management software and field technologies.
