Construction Superintendent - Summary- On-site leadership position in commercial construction projects
- Supervises up to 300 employees and subcontractors
- Ensures project completion according to schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Represents the company’s interests to owners and public entities
- Manage and direct all job site activities related to project execution from start to finish
- Oversee both self-perform labor crews and subcontractor work to achieve timely project completion
- Communicate daily with job foremen and craftsmen to ensure production expectations are met
- Ensure all project goals are accomplished according to specifications, on time, and within budget
- Hold weekly subcontractor meetings at the job site to review schedule, safety, and quality
- Review and manage RFI status, project delays, and additional work requirements
- Coordinate directly with subcontractors to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of drawings
- Communicate regularly with project managers on all project-related issues, changes, or delays
- Assist in conducting closeout meetings 30 days prior to project completion
- Develop and implement strategies to complete projects on or ahead of schedule and within budget
- Maintain compliance with pre-established guidelines for job performance
- Track self-performed work production to ensure budget adherence

- Minimum of five years' experience as a superintendent with a commercial general contractor
- Experience in multi-family projects, especially workforce housing, LIHTC, HUD, or garden-style apartments preferred
- Additional project experience in industrial, office, education, retail, aviation, medical, federal/municipal, hotel, hospitality, sports/recreation, parking structures, or tenant improvement/renovations is a plus
- Expertise in scheduling and coordinating subcontractors required
- Experience with Procore software preferred
- Strong knowledge of self-perform concrete work desired
