Construction Superintendent - Summary- Lead daily on-site construction activities to ensure project milestones and schedules are met.
- Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Promote and enforce a culture of safety, health, and cleanliness on all job sites.
- Oversee the implementation of quality control measures and ensure compliance with all contract documents and legal requirements.
- Utilize critical thinking and construction knowledge to resolve complex challenges and drive project success.
- Manage the day-to-day field operations, supervising all work and personnel to keep the project on schedule.
- Create and maintain short-interval and overall project schedules, proactively addressing potential issues.
- Develop and enforce site-specific safety plans, fostering a safe working environment for all team members.
- Ensure all construction activities align with contract standards and industry best practices.
- Coordinate third-party survey and layout personnel to maintain dimensional controls.
- Verify quality of workmanship for all installed materials and systems.
- Obtain required inspections and ensure comprehensive documentation of project milestones.
- Ensure project compliance with all relevant legal, contractual, and community requirements.
- Administer client, landlord, and site-specific programs such as rules, safety, and security protocols.
