Construction Superintendent - Summary
- Oversee all onsite construction activities for assigned commercial and public works projects
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and multi-prime contractors
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure project completion within schedule, budget, and quality standards
- Implement and enforce safety programs and project safety plans
- Provide accurate and timely reporting to project managers and stakeholders
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage daily onsite construction operations and self-performed work
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure seamless workflow between all parties
- Maintain proactive communication with owners, architects, and consultants
- Process requests for information and clarifications as needed
- Update as-built drawings and maintain accurate project documentation
- Track project costs and monitor budget adherence
- Develop and update project schedules regularly to reflect progress and changes
- Capture and catalog progress photos throughout each phase of construction
- Prepare comprehensive daily reports and ensure timely submissions
- Review shop drawings and submittals for quality and coordination
- Collaborate with Project Manager to identify and estimate change orders
- Lead the implementation of company and project-specific safety plans
- Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and quality standards

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in commercial and public works construction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced job site environment
- Effective problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues independently
- Demonstrated judgment, logic, and willingness to learn new skills quickly
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore and MS Project scheduling software is a plus
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving history
