Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and enforce a comprehensive safety program that exceeds company incident goals and fosters a culture of safety at all levels.
- Ensure all project materials are supplied and work is completed in strict compliance with the Project Quality Program or equivalent standards.
- Confirm that construction activities adhere to approved plans, specifications, design drawings, and applicable codes, while upholding the company’s high quality standards.
- Develop, uphold, and drive the construction schedule, ensuring that project milestones and deadlines are met, with daily schedule updates.
- Collaborate with the project team to issue material and service purchase orders, track receipt of materials, and handle equipment returns.
- Maintain detailed inventory logs and manage the distribution of materials to field employees.
- Oversee field employees and subcontractors, ensuring efficient work planning and accurate coding of time and production sheets.
- Mentor and support the professional development of project team members, contributing to their growth and skills advancement.
- Lead regular project meetings with internal and external stakeholders to monitor progress and address challenges.
- Maintain a comprehensive daily log to accurately track site progress, inspections, and significant events.
- Conduct weekly safety meetings and facilitate job discussion forums, as well as manage and perform weekly safety inspections.
- Prepare and submit weekly progress reports by established deadlines.
- Establish and maintain credibility with owners and trade contractors by fostering a fair and trustworthy work environment.
- Review construction details with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure compliance with plans and documentation.
- Review and approve vendor drawings and submittals, and foster a culture of quality throughout all operations.
- Authorize and approve personnel transactions for supervision staff, ensuring adequate and qualified staffing in coordination with project managers.
- Participate in or lead planning sessions for project means and methods, encouraging innovation and effective execution of work plans.
- Interface with all work teams, including subcontractors, to resolve issues, ensure safety, and achieve project goals.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of supervisory experience in ground-up multifamily or hotel construction projects.
- Proven ability to read and interpret specifications for all trades; prior experience as a foreman or journeyman is required.
- OSHA 10-hour training or equivalent safety certification.
- Valid CPR and First Aid certifications.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and advanced skills in Microsoft Project.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Procore construction management software.
- Familiarity or experience with BIM, LEAN, and LEED practices is a plus.
- Strong organizational, leadership, and motivational skills.
- Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
- Ability to work outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions and to travel across construction sites during all project phases.
- Physical ability to safely handle worksite hazards, including lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and maintaining visual and hearing acuity.
- Clean motor vehicle driving record consistent with company and insurance standards.
- Effective use of communication tools such as cellular devices and email to stay connected with project teams and managers.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
