Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and analyze contractor-developed Primavera P6 baseline schedules to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project scope and milestones.
- Conduct detailed reviews of monthly schedule updates, identifying impacts to the critical path, potential delays, and project health indicators.
- Generate structured, technical schedule review comments following owner-mandated templates and reporting standards.
- Perform comprehensive QA/QC reviews of contractor schedule submissions for compliance with contract requirements.
- Apply Earned Value Analysis (EVA) to evaluate project performance, develop performance curves, and document key reporting metrics.
- Identify and assess schedule risks, delays, and inefficiencies, recommending viable recovery strategies to maintain project timelines.
- Develop and assess preliminary construction schedules using design documents and project scope details.
- Execute Time Impact Analyses (TIA) utilizing accepted methodologies, including Windows Analysis, for both contemporaneous and forensic evaluations.
- Interpret construction drawings and contract documents to determine scope alignment and entitlement to time extensions.
- Prepare Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), variance reports, root cause analyses, and mitigation plans as needed.
- Maintain and update program-level and master schedules, ensuring data consistency and standardization across all projects.
- Coordinate and collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to address scheduling issues and maintain project alignment.
- Participate in project meetings and conduct site visits to verify schedule progress and field conditions.
- Prepare executive-level reports and updates for senior leadership and program stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of full-time professional experience in construction scheduling, preferably in owner-side or general contractor roles.
- Experience supporting public sector, educational facility, or large-scale capital programs. Direct experience with school district projects is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (latest versions) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. Candidates with degrees in other disciplines and significant relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
- Demonstrated ability to independently review complex schedules and provide detailed recommendations.
- Expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, cost and resource loading in P6, and schedule forensics including delay and Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
- Experience interpreting contracts as they relate to schedule entitlement and requirements.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, including the ability to produce clear technical reports and schedule narratives.
