Key Responsibilities
- Direct and manage all activities related to contract administration, change orders, procurement, scheduling, and financial reporting to ensure project objectives are met.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of company contracts and fully understand the roles and responsibilities of all parties involved in each project.
- Secure necessary permits and verify that all subcontractors maintain appropriate insurance coverage in compliance with project requirements.
- Facilitate and lead project meetings to coordinate work activities, resolve issues, and promote effective communication among stakeholders.
- Lead, train, and mentor project team members to promote professional growth and team cohesion.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive monthly job status reports, clearly outlining project priorities and any emerging issues.
- Manage the project close-out process, including the turnover of manuals and warranties, and ensure the completion of all final payment documentation for subcontractors.
- Foster and maintain positive working relationships with owners, engineering teams, and design firms to encourage partnership and collaboration.
- Establish and enforce project deadlines, continuously monitoring progress to ensure timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
- Promote and uphold a culture of safety on the project site, ensuring all activities comply with safety regulations and best practices.
- Contribute to the company’s acquisition of new projects by participating in proposal development and client presentations.
- Provide leadership that supports an inclusive and diverse work environment, aligning with the organization’s core values.
- Proactively identify and cultivate relationships with industry professionals to support business development and secure new work opportunities.
- Take an active role in recruiting exceptional talent to the organization, focusing on hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing individuals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering, civil engineering, architecture, construction management, or a closely related discipline.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in the construction industry, preferably with a general contractor handling large-scale construction projects.
- At least 2 years of experience leading, developing, and motivating project teams.
- Comprehensive understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial aspects of construction project management.
- Demonstrated ability to make timely and effective decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish.
- Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills with owners and trade contractors.
- Exemplary work ethic, leadership skills, adaptability, accountability, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
- Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) certification and/or LEED accreditation.
