Construction Project Manager - Summary
- Lead and manage construction projects, with a primary focus on K-12 educational and public works sectors.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring expectations are clearly communicated and met throughout the project lifecycle.

- Work collaboratively with architects, designers, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure project success.
- Utilize project management software and systems to maintain documentation and track project progress.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage client expectations and foster strong client relationships.
- Provide project leadership, supervision, and document control.
- Prepare and manage cost proposals, change orders, and project budgets.
- Oversee project accounting, including owner billings and subcontractor payments.
- Maintain strict cost control and ensure budgets are adhered to from inception to completion.
- Handle project submittals, RFIs, and documentation requirements.
- Develop and manage detailed CPM schedules for project delivery.
- Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, and monitor subcontractor performance.
- Work closely with architects, designers, owners, and field teams to resolve project challenges.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience managing commercial or public works construction projects, or overseeing large, complex projects
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, or a related field preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of current construction methods, materials, and regulations
- Ability to perform under pressure and coordinate multiple teams and activities efficiently
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project scheduling or equivalent software
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history
