Construction Project Manager - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage client relationships and effectively communicate project progress and expectations.
- Provide leadership and supervisory support to all project team members.
- Establish and maintain comprehensive project documentation, ensuring all documents are complete, current, and accessible.
- Develop accurate cost proposals and manage change orders throughout project lifecycle.
- Prepare and oversee project budgets, buy-outs, and contract administration.
- Administer project accounting, including owner billing preparation and approval of subcontractor progress payments.
- Maintain strict budget and cost controls from project start to finish.
- Oversee submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and all project documentation requirements.
- Develop and manage the Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate the procurement of materials and equipment, monitor budgets, and manage billing for all subcontractors.
- Facilitate coordination among architects, designers, owners, subcontractors, and field personnel to achieve project objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience managing multiple commercial and/or public works construction projects, or a single large and complex project.
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, or a related field is preferred.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate complex activities across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software such as MS Project.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
