Duties & Responsibilities
- Interpret and analyze blueprints, drawings, specifications, proposals, and related construction documents to ensure accurate project execution.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare estimates for both self-performed and subcontracted work.
- Conduct schematic estimating to support project planning and budgeting.
- Oversee and manage project scheduling, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met.
- Solicit, gather, and analyze quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Manage relationships and contracts with subcontractors and material suppliers, as well as handle change orders efficiently.
- Evaluate alternative construction methods and solutions to maximize project efficiency and value.
- Prepare and manage billings for owners and subcontractors, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Process and manage submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collect and analyze information to resolve discrepancies and support effective problem-solving on-site.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Proven experience in planning, designing, coordinating, and communicating to meet construction project goals.
- Ability to oversee all aspects of the contracted scope, including cost proposals, subcontracts, submittals, scheduling, project budgeting, and job cost reporting.
- Experience in reviewing and approving construction designs, drawings, bid documents, pay applications, and change orders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and adapt to shifting priorities in a team-oriented environment.
- Familiarity with regulatory construction standards and best practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook), Sage 100, Procore, Bluebeam, and other construction management software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate teams and deliver information effectively.
- Knowledge of commercial construction estimating, project administration, LEED certifications, and industry-specific practices.
- Commitment to a collaborative team environment and ability to represent the company professionally in all settings.
- Strong time management, organization, and creative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage and schedule competing priorities and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Education: College degree in construction management, business, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of experience and education will be considered.
- Preferred: 3-5 years of direct experience in construction project management or related knowledge.
- Maintain a good driving record for potential travel requirements.
