Construction Project Manager - Summary
- Oversee and manage multifamily and hospitality construction projects from preconstruction through to closeout.
- Serve as the primary leader responsible for project planning, execution, cost management, quality assurance, and client communication.
- Work collaboratively with project stakeholders including owners, architects, engineers, consultants, superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Drive project success by ensuring all deliverables are achieved on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead project planning activities: Develop budgets, schedules, logistics, and resource allocation plans.
- Create and manage comprehensive execution plans that clearly define scope, milestones, and deliverables.
- Collaborate with owners, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure alignment with design intent and constructability.
- Oversee all construction phases and coordinate superintendents, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable worksite culture and conduct regular project meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Manage project budgets, including cost forecasting, job cost reports, change orders, and billings.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate financial and project risks, providing accurate and timely financial reporting to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, project specifications, contracts, and all relevant building codes and regulations.
- Conduct regular site walks to monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance.
- Maintain complete and accurate project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change management records.
- Serve as the main point of contact for owners and stakeholders, delivering consistent updates on schedule, budget, risks, and milestones.
- Prepare and present detailed project status reports to internal leadership and clients.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience managing multifamily and/or hotel construction projects with a general contractor.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is required.
- Demonstrated success delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout.
- Strong knowledge of construction means & methods, contracts, scheduling, and cost control.
- Proficiency with construction technology tools, including Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP, CCM, or similar certifications are a plus.
