Construction Project Manager - Summary
- Lead and manage commercial construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all company standards and industry regulations.
- Serve as the primary liaison between project stakeholders, including clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Utilize project management software and scheduling tools to oversee project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Facilitate ongoing communication to keep all parties informed and projects moving forward.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, direct, and manage all activities related to assigned commercial construction projects.
- Provide leadership and direction to the project team while supporting and motivating team members.
- Develop and maintain critical path method (CPM) schedules and ensure all project tasks are completed as scheduled.
- Oversee project budgets, including self-performed work, and ensure financial goals are met.
- Review, de-scope, and execute comprehensive subcontract agreements.
- Communicate regularly with subcontractors to monitor progress and address issues promptly.
- Prepare and submit owner billings and manage timely change order submissions and schedule updates.
- Demonstrate knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to commercial construction.
- Negotiate with owners and public entities as needed to maintain project progress.
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures for quality assurance and job site safety.
- Participate in project procurement, business development, marketing, preconstruction, and estimating activities as required.
- Conduct regular site visits during construction to monitor progress, quality, and compliance.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of five years’ experience as a Project Manager with a Commercial General Contractor.
- Proficiency in project management software (Procore, Timberline, Microsoft Office, and P6 or similar scheduling tools preferred).
- Experience managing diverse projects, including multi-family developments, workforce housing, LIHTC, HUD, garden-style apartments, industrial facilities, office buildings, educational institutions, retail spaces, aviation, medical, federal or municipal projects, hotels, hospitality, sports/recreation, parking structures, and tenant improvements/renovations.
- Ability to learn and implement company-specific procedures and work collaboratively as part of a larger team.
- Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work independently as a self-starter.
- Willingness to conduct frequent site visits based on project needs and complexity.
