Construction Project Executive - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership & Oversight: Provide daily leadership for project management, construction, and administration teams. Guide projects through all phases, from pre-construction to post-completion. Mobilize project resources, ensure proper staffing, and oversee recruitment, training, and mentoring of personnel.
- Client & Relationship Management: Strengthen client relationships through excellent service and successful project delivery. Attend meetings with clients, architects, and contractors. Assist in contract negotiations and legal review, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
- Business Development & Strategy: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector. Collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams, ensure profitability, and negotiate contract terms.
- Financial & Operational Management: Review and approve project estimates, schedules, and reports. Oversee subcontract bidding, approve major procurements, maintain cost control systems, and ensure positive cash flow. Review management and fee goal reports.
- Policy & Compliance: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures. Confirm project scheduling and controls are implemented, and promote fair relationships with subcontractors and vendors.
- Team Development: Mentor and coach team members, establish performance goals, and support professional development initiatives.
