Duties & Responsibilities
- Enhance client relationships through exceptional service and successful project completion.
- Promote positive relations with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring fairness and professionalism.
- Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing teams to set up projects for profitability and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and coach project teams, setting and monitoring annual performance goals.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the construction industry.
- Formulate and develop contract terms with clients, ensuring clear communication to project teams.
- Define and communicate project strategies effectively.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures on all projects.
- Guide multiple projects and teams through all phases, including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction.
- Identify and mitigate potential project risks, developing proactive plans as needed.
- Review and approve monthly project status reports, estimates, and schedules.
- Oversee subcontract bidding, negotiations, and approvals of subcontracts and major purchases.
- Ensure adherence to scheduling and cost control protocols.
- Lead project mobilization, ensuring proper staffing and resources.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise personnel.
- Maintain positive cash flow and ensure timely progress payments.
- Generate accurate management reports, including fee goal updates and budget forecasts.
- Assist clients in negotiating and drafting contracts.
- Participate in project meetings with clients, architects, and contractors.
