Construction Project Executive - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Strengthen client relationships through exceptional service, communication, and successful project completion.
- Foster positive relationships with subcontractors and vendors, ensuring fair and professional interactions across all project phases.
- Collaborate with estimating and purchasing teams to ensure optimal project setup, profitability, and client satisfaction.
- Mentor and coach project teams, setting annual performance goals, providing feedback, and supporting professional development.
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the commercial construction industry.
- Develop and communicate clear contract terms with clients, ensuring transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure clear project strategies are defined and communicated to all relevant stakeholders.
- Implement and monitor compliance with corporate policies and procedures on every project.
- Oversee multiple projects and job teams through pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction phases.
- Identify potential operational risks and develop effective mitigation plans to safeguard client interests.
- Review and approve monthly project status reports, estimates, schedules, and major purchase orders.
- Supervise subcontract bidding, negotiations, and ensure adherence to company protocols and plans.
- Monitor and maintain project scheduling and cost control to ensure successful financial outcomes.
- Lead recruitment, training, and supervision of project personnel to build high-performing teams.
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, including financial updates and performance metrics.
- Assist with contract negotiations and ensure appropriate legal reviews and approvals are obtained.
- Attend and contribute to meetings with clients, architects, and construction partners for project alignment and progress tracking.
- Conduct regular jobsite walks to inspect construction quality, safety, and progress, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

- Competitive annual salary range: $195,000 - $295,000 (companywide)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, construction science, or closely related field
- At least 10 years of progressive experience managing or supervising complex construction projects
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and coordinate diverse teams towards project goals
- Physical ability to navigate active construction sites, including traversing uneven terrain, climbing ladders, and inspecting materials and workmanship
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
