Duties & Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain client relationships through outstanding service and successful project completion
- Promote positive subcontractor and vendor relations, ensuring professional, fair, and equitable interactions
- Collaborate with Estimating and Purchasing teams to ensure successful project setup, profitability, and satisfaction
- Mentor, coach, and set performance goals for project staff to encourage professional growth
- Identify and pursue new business development opportunities within the construction industry
- Develop and communicate contract terms with clients and ensure proper dissemination among project teams
- Define and communicate clear project strategies to all stakeholders
- Ensure implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures on all projects
- Oversee multiple projects through all phases, including pre-construction, construction, closeout, and post-construction
- Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
- Review and approve project status reports, estimates, schedules, and major purchase orders
- Supervise subcontract bidding, negotiations, and subcontractor management
- Ensure cost control systems are in place and adhered to
- Lead project mobilization and staffing, ensuring resources and tools are available
- Recruit, train, and mentor personnel to build strong project teams
- Maintain positive cash flow and timely progress payments
- Ensure timely and accurate management reporting, including fee updates and project financials
- Assist clients with contract negotiation and review
- Participate in client, architect, and contractor meetings
- Conduct regular jobsite walks to assess progress and ensure safety standards are met

- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management

- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Physical capability to traverse construction sites, climb ladders and temporary stairways, and conduct jobsite inspections
