Proficiency with industry-standard estimating and takeoff software, as well as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, is required. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication are essential for managing multiple bids and deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities using bidding platforms, market research, and industry relationships.
- Build and maintain relationships with general contractors, architects, engineers, and developers.
- Lead bid management from initial review to submission and post-bid follow-up.
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and project documentation to understand project requirements and pricing considerations.
- Perform detailed takeoffs for wire mesh partitions, security mesh systems, and related products.
- Prepare accurate, competitive cost estimates and proposals for commercial, industrial, and multifamily projects.
- Analyze bid results and trends to enhance estimating strategy and pricing competitiveness.
- Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and material trends to ensure current and competitive estimates.
- Communicate project scope, pricing assumptions, and bid clarifications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with operations, production, and leadership to align estimates with execution capabilities.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 7–10 years of estimating experience in construction or manufacturing, preferably in building materials or specialty products.
- Proven track record of preparing estimates and bids for commercial, industrial, or multifamily projects.
- Experience with full bid lifecycle management, including opportunity tracking and post-bid follow-up.
- Proficiency with estimating and takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong understanding of construction materials, building systems, and manufacturing processes relevant to wire mesh and security partition products.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or related field preferred.
- Data center project experience and experience with specialty construction or manufactured building products are highly desirable.
