Construction Account Manager - Summary
- Key client-facing role responsible for business development, client relationship management, and end-to-end project delivery within the commercial flooring sector
- Integrates sales, estimating, project management, and field oversight responsibilities
- Acts as the primary point of contact for general contractors, end users, and internal installation teams throughout the project lifecycle

Duties & Responsibilities
- Business Development & Sales: Identify and pursue new opportunities with general contractors and end users; establish and nurture long-term client relationships; maintain a strong presence at industry events and associations
- Pre-Construction & Planning: Conduct job site visits to assess project scope and requirements; perform measurements, identify logistical challenges, and create detailed estimates using digital take-off and estimating tools; develop comprehensive project proposals
- Project Management & Execution: Oversee all project phases from contract award through completion; manage schedules, budgets, and installation quality; coordinate with in-house teams, subcontractors, and suppliers for timely project delivery; conduct regular site visits to resolve issues, verify progress, and ensure client satisfaction; track job costing, billing, and change orders; proactively identify risks and implement process improvements
- Client Service: Serve as the key point of contact for clients throughout project execution, ensuring clear communication, responsiveness, and issue resolution

Qualifications & Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in commercial construction sales, estimating, or project management, preferably within the flooring industry
- Strong project planning and organizational abilities
- Proficiency in reading plans/specifications and utilizing digital take-off and estimating tools
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a proven track record of successful client and team interactions
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
