Conformal Coating Technician - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Read and accurately interpret electronic work instructions and detailed engineering drawings.
- Prepare circuit boards by masking or taping areas that must remain free of conformal coating or potting materials.
- Apply conformal coating manually, ensuring complete and even coverage on designated areas.
- Perform manual touch-ups and remove excess coating as required to maintain product quality.
- Inspect coated assemblies for proper coverage, adherence to specifications, and absence of defects.
- Transport racks of circuit boards between production areas to facilitate continuous workflow.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment through general housekeeping duties.
- Comply with all safety protocols and standard operating procedures during coating operations.
