Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply conformal coatings and/or ruggedize Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs) according to detailed customer requirements and process documentation.
- Participate fully in the Parylene coating process, including preparation, application, and inspection phases.
- Perform masking and taping of electronic circuit boards, ensuring designated areas remain free of coatings or potting compounds.
- Set up, operate, and break down Parylene chambers and associated coating equipment, adhering to maintenance schedules as directed by Process Engineering.
- Maintain comprehensive records for machine maintenance and process traceability.
- Operate a variety of dispensing and coating machines to achieve consistent, high-quality results meeting customer and industry standards.
- Inspect coated assemblies to verify complete and proper coverage, identifying and correcting any deficiencies.
- Perform manual touch-up and remove excess coating for quality assurance.
- Transport racks of circuit boards between workstations to facilitate smooth production flow.
- Conduct routine maintenance, including fluid changes and cleaning of coating and dispensing machines, to ensure optimal performance.
- Uphold a clean, organized, and safe working environment by performing regular housekeeping duties.
- Complete all required training courses relevant to coating, masking, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support changing production demands, taking on additional tasks as necessary.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for the Conformal Coating Technician position.
- Prior experience with Parylene or similar conformal coating processes is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Willingness and capability to learn, with the ability to train others in conformal coating and ruggedization procedures as required.
- Physical ability to lift and move various weights as needed in the production environment.
- Good physical mobility, including the ability to sit, stand, and perform repetitive tasks safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and patience are highly valued.
- Must be able to work safely, independently, and efficiently at all times.
- This is an ITAR facility, so applicants must be US Citizens.
