Compensation Analyst, Senior (CCP) - Summary
This role focuses on designing, administering, and improving compensation programs across the organization. Your expertise will be critical in refining job architecture, ensuring market competitiveness, and supporting compensation planning cycles. The Compensation Analyst, Senior (CCP) is instrumental in driving data quality, process governance, and advanced reporting, playing a key role in shaping the company’s overall compensation philosophy.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design and administer comprehensive compensation programs, including base pay, incentives, and recognition initiatives.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to make informed offers, promotions, and market-based compensation adjustments.
- Refine and maintain detailed job architecture frameworks, job profiles, and leveling structures.
- Perform job evaluations, FLSA assessments, and conduct market benchmarking analyses.
- Lead compensation data cleanup, validation, and standardization initiatives within HRIS systems such as Workday.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues, process inefficiencies, and reporting inconsistencies.
- Develop governance processes to ensure ongoing accuracy and integrity of compensation data.
- Create advanced compensation reports, dashboards, models, and analytics to support business decision-making.
- Deliver insights on pay equity, market competitiveness, retention risk, and compensation trends.
- Support annual merit increase and bonus planning cycles with detailed modeling and reporting.
- Assist in the design, administration, and documentation of incentive plans.
- Partner with HRIS, Finance, and business leaders to drive compensation-related initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and reporting improvements.
- Support the adoption and integration of AI-enabled analytics and reporting tools.
- Develop process documentation, training materials, and guides for compensation programs.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, Data Analytics, or related field preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive compensation experience.
- Proven expertise in job architecture, job leveling, and market benchmarking.
- Experience supporting annual merit and bonus planning cycles.
- Advanced Excel skills, including modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Compensation and advanced reporting capabilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced and evolving business environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization tools preferred.
- Background in HR data cleanup, transformation, or system optimization initiatives is advantageous.
- Familiarity with AI tools and applications within HR or Compensation preferred.
- CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) certification preferred.
- Experience working with McLagan or similar job architecture frameworks preferred.
