Commercial Refrigeration Technician (EPA Certified) - Summary
- Responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R systems.
- Maintains a service territory utilizing a company-provided, fully stocked truck and modern dispatch tools.
- Works with a broad range of equipment including walk-in and reach-in units, ice machines, display cases, rack systems, and hot-side kitchen equipment.
- Ensures high standards of customer satisfaction through professional communication and technical expertise.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Perform diagnostics on walk-in coolers, freezers, reach-ins, ice machines, display cases, rack systems, and related hot-side equipment.
- Maintain and organize service tools, truck inventory, and necessary documentation for each assignment.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain findings, repairs, and preventive maintenance recommendations.
- Collaborate with dispatch and other team members to coordinate schedules and meet customer needs.
- Adhere to company safety protocols, maintain EPA 608 compliance, and follow industry best practices.
- Provide emergency repair services and participate in on-call rotation as needed to ensure client systems remain operational.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in commercial refrigeration or HVAC/R service.
- EPA 608 certification required for handling refrigerants.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Experience with rack and CO2 systems is a plus and rewarded at the top of the pay range.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently in the field.
