Commercial Insurance Account Manager (P&C) - Summary
The Commercial Insurance Account Manager (P&C) is responsible for managing a book of business comprised of commercial clients, addressing their insurance needs, and ensuring all policies and documentation meet regulatory and company standards. The role requires an active Property & Casualty (P&C) license, a strong understanding of insurance products, and experience with account management. Training is available for candidates who demonstrate strong aptitude and relevant skills.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including processing renewals, policy changes, and client requests.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients regarding their commercial insurance policies and services.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to support client satisfaction, retention, and policy accuracy.
- Prepare and process insurance quotes, new business applications, and endorsements for new and existing clients.
- Review insurance policies for accuracy, ensuring compliance with both industry regulations and internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with underwriters, brokers, and team members to design solutions tailored to each client’s needs.
- Stay informed about insurance market trends, coverage options, and regulatory updates relevant to commercial lines.
- Assist clients throughout the claims process, including reporting and facilitating communication between clients and carriers.
- Utilize insurance management software and related technologies to maintain accurate records and efficiently process transactions.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and current Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Wisconsin (in good standing)
- Previous experience in commercial insurance with a focus on account management and servicing
- Demonstrated strong follow-up skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts and tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in technology, including Microsoft Office and insurance management software (experience with agency automation systems is a plus)
