- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor pricing.
- Solicit and evaluate competitive bids from subcontractors and vendors.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and recommend cost-saving alternatives while maintaining design intent.
- Assemble estimate packages for proposals and client presentations.
- Collaborate with project management, BIM/VDC, and preconstruction teams to ensure estimates align with project scope and schedules.
- Maintain organized records of historical cost data, market trends, and vendor pricing.
- Clearly communicate estimate assumptions and project scope to internal teams and clients.
- Support coordination on cross-border projects linking U.S. clients with international execution teams.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- Strong ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP documents.
- Proficiency with estimating software such as On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, ProEst, or similar, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Familiarity with Lean Construction and/or BIM/VDC workflows is a plus.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Spanish language proficiency is advantageous given the cross-border nature of projects.
- Experience in automotive, manufacturing, distribution, or industrial construction markets is beneficial.
- Detail-oriented and analytical with a passion for accuracy in cost estimating.
