COBOL Developer - Summary- Responsible for the development, optimization, and maintenance of mainframe COBOL applications supporting government agency systems.
- Work remotely as part of a technologically advanced team focused on eligibility and client services.

- Design, develop, test, and maintain COBOL programs for mainframe-based solutions within government projects.

- Adhere to software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies for analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Document processes and maintain technical documentation for all mainframe applications and workflows.

- 8+ years of advanced experience in COBOL programming, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining applications using CICS for online transaction processing.
