Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and program CNC mills and lathes to manufacture precision components according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
- Interpret complex drawings, G-code, M-code, and technical documentation to determine optimal machining processes.
- Perform manual machining operations such as turning, milling, drilling, and grinding when required.
- Conduct detailed quality inspections using micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, and other precision measurement instruments to ensure products meet strict tolerances.
- Select, install, and adjust tooling for various machining operations, performing setup and routine maintenance as needed.
- Monitor machine operations, diagnose malfunctions, and implement adjustments to optimize efficiency and output quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and drive continuous improvements in manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols and company quality standards at all times.
- Document production metrics, part dimensions, material usage, and cycle times accurately.
- Mentor and guide less experienced machinists, contributing to a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional growth.

Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- At least two years of hands-on experience in precision machining, specifically with CNC mills and lathes.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD/CAM models.
- Demonstrated skill in CNC programming using G-code and M-code.
- Expertise in using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.
- Knowledge of metals and composites and their properties in machining operations.
- Able to perform tool setup, adjustments, and basic machine maintenance independently.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality output.
