Working as a CNC Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in maintaining high-quality production standards. Your main focus will be on operating a single-side straight-line glass edging machine to polish glass or mirror edges, while simultaneously ensuring all products meet rigorous quality and safety standards. This position demands a detail-oriented approach to inspecting finished products for defects and accurately reporting any abnormalities to your supervisor. You will also be expected to read and interpret work instructions, labels, and picking lists to ensure all production requirements are met efficiently.
In addition to daily machine operation, the CNC Machine Operator is responsible for maintaining a smooth production flow. This includes meeting or exceeding daily output goals and collaborating with team members to handle materials safely, including lifting and transporting heavy items when necessary. The ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and stand for extended periods is essential for success in this role.

CNC Machine Operator - Summary- Operate CNC and single-side straight-line glass edging machines for glass and mirror production
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
- Read, interpret, and follow all work instructions and labels
- Maintain efficient production flow and meet daily output targets
- Contribute to a culture of workplace safety and continuous improvement
- Operate glass and mirror edging and polishing machinery (including CNC, CMS, and hand fabrication equipment)
- Inspect products for defects and report any irregularities to supervisors
- Follow detailed work instructions and accurately interpret picking lists
- Maintain consistent production flow, ensuring targets and deadlines are met
- Comply with all safety protocols and quality assurance procedures
- Lift up to 75 lbs independently and up to 150 lbs with team assistance
- Push or pull materials weighing over 150 lbs as part of a team
- Stand for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment
