CNC Machine Operator - Summary
- Operate CNC and water jet machinery for glass fabrication and production

Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate CMS CNC machines and water jet equipment to fabricate glass products to exact specifications
- Select, run, and monitor machine programs based on production needs
- Assist with equipment setup, adjustments, and routine preventative maintenance
- Utilize hoists and suction cranes to safely handle and transport glass materials
- Conduct quality inspections and maintain accurate production and quality logs
- Secure glass materials for safe movement to various production areas and delivery trucks
- Move glass from tables, furnaces, rolling racks, and crates efficiently throughout the shift
- Follow all safety protocols, including PPE requirements, and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform daily equipment and area inspections for operational and safety compliance

Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience operating CNC machines in a manufacturing setting
- Hands-on experience with CMS machinery is preferred
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and machine program operation is beneficial
- Ability to accurately read and interpret tape measures; testing required during interview
- Experience with hoists, suction cranes, or other material handling equipment preferred
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and work in a demanding environment
- Willingness to work in a non-climate-controlled facility and wear required PPE
- Strong attendance record, reliability, and a team-oriented attitude essential
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs independently, up to 150 lbs with assistance, and push/pull materials over 150 lbs with a team
