Cloud Network Engineer (AWS) - Summary- Remote position responsible for managing and optimizing cloud-based network infrastructure
- Focus on AWS deployment, Microsoft 365 G5, virtualized networking, and cloud security
- Collaborates with network administrators and IT leadership to support cloud operations

- Collaborate closely with network administrators and IT leadership to support AWS, Microsoft 365, and cloud security practices
- Monitor and respond to security alerts from the managed SOC/SIEM provider
- Administer AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and backup management
- Support and optimize SD-WAN and firewall configurations to ensure seamless network operations
- Document procedures, changes, and incidents related to the cloud network environment
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud network-related issues and incidents
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with cloud technologies and best practices

- 3+ years of experience in cloud administration, network administration, or a closely related IT role
- Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, and related services)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, including security and compliance configurations
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and virtualized networking concepts
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Detail-oriented and proactive in identifying and resolving cloud network issues
- Demonstrated experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and network security best practices
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
