IDR is seeking a Cloud Architect to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Austin, Texas. In this role, you will help plan, engineer, and support cloud infrastructure and applications for a regulated multi-cloud environment. Youll also collaborate across teams to ensure security, compliance, reliability, and 24×7 operational readiness.
Position Overview for the Cloud Architect
- Accountable for the architectural direction of cloud computing initiatives and cloud brokering team activities across IT and the business
- Designs and implements cloud infrastructure and applications using standard cloud concepts, including SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS
- Supports a regulated multi-cloud enterprise environment, partnering on data/AI platform expertise, vendor coordination, monitoring, and system reliability
- Plans, engineers, and maintains cloud platforms and supporting services in production operations
Requirements for the Cloud Architect:
- Multi-Cloud Platform Expertise (Azure + GCP)
- GenAI & Enterprise AI Platform Knowledge (Gemini, Vertex AI)
- Expertise in Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring, and logging frameworks to track performance, reliability, and usage
- Experience using Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, and integration with Azure Log Analytics for proactive monitoring and alerting
- Ability to design alerting solutions using Twilio (SMS/voice) for ETL failures and operational notifications
