Clinical Research Study Participant - Summary
- Participate in a 30-minute, in-person video research session focused on visual pattern recognition.
- Open to adults ages 18 and over who have one of the following visual conditions: Strabismus, Nystagmus, Single eye/Glass eye, Pigment dispersion syndrome, Kruckenberg's spindles, Damaged iris, or Prosthetic irises.
- Sessions are conducted at our research studio in a comfortable and accessible setting.
- Contribute to research that seeks to enhance the inclusivity of AI-driven visual systems.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Attend a scheduled in-person session at the research facility.
- Participate in simple visual tasks such as focusing on provided patterns from various distances while being recorded for short video clips (approximately 40-45 seconds each).
- Follow guidance from a session moderator who will provide step-by-step instructions and support throughout the experience.
- Engage in the research activities in a relaxed environment, with the option to pause or stop participation at any time.
- Review and sign a simple consent form prior to beginning the session, with the opportunity to ask questions and clarify any concerns.
- Bring a photo ID for check-in and follow provided instructions for building access.
