The Clinical Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) serves as the clinical leader for an outpatient primary care center, directly managing a small panel of patients and providing oversight to a team of primary care physicians (PCPs) and nurse practitioners (NPs). The role is integral to fostering a culture of value-based care, professional growth, and patient-centered service. As a key member of the leadership team, you will ensure the highest standards of care delivery, operational efficiency, and ongoing training for clinical staff.

Clinical Medical Director, Primary Care (MD/DO) - Summary
- Provide clinical leadership in an outpatient primary care setting focused on value-based care for seniors.
- Oversee the delivery of evidence-based medicine through direct patient care and management of clinical teams.
- Collaborate with administrative, operational, and specialist teams to optimize center performance and patient outcomes.
- Support ongoing clinical education and leadership development for providers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver primary care to a small patient panel (60–90 patients), focusing on seniors with multiple chronic conditions.
- Lead and mentor a clinical team of PCPs and NPs, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Oversee daily clinical operations, ensuring adherence to value-based care principles and high patient satisfaction.
- Participate in center operations, medical economics, and financial performance initiatives.
- Engage in ongoing training, including PCP Black Belt Training, Medical Director Essentials, and Leadership Pathways programs.
- Contribute to sales and growth strategies for the center.
- Promote holistic health services, including coordination with in-house specialists (cardiology, podiatry, and more) and wellness offerings (acupuncture, Tai Chi, yoga, nutrition).
- Ensure accessibility for patients, including door-to-door transportation services.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics, or a related specialty.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Geriatric Medicine.
- Minimum of one year clinical experience in a geriatric or family practice setting.
- Demonstrated leadership experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to travel locally and occasionally regionally as needed.
