In this role, you will operate a spotter truck within a short radius, handling frequent trailer movements, drops, and hooks. You will back trailers into and out of dock doors, occasionally in tight spaces, and be responsible for securing and preparing loads. This position requires physical activity, including getting in and out of the truck multiple times per day, opening and closing trailer doors, and occasionally cranking dolly legs up or down. During peak periods, some overtime and occasional Saturday work may be required to meet operational demands.

CDL Class A Truck Driver - Summary- Operate a spotter truck to move trailers between plant and warehouses within a two-mile radius
- Ensure safe and efficient handling of freight, including rubber hoses
- Perform daily drop and hook operations, trailer backing, and docking
- Maintain adherence to all safety and operational procedures
- Engage with a supportive team environment focused on reliability and safety
- Transport trailers between plant and warehouse locations
- Back trailers into/out of dock doors, sometimes in tight spaces
- Perform drop and hook operations, including opening/closing trailer doors and cranking dolly legs as needed
- Regularly enter and exit the truck throughout the workday
- Operate a spotter truck and adhere to all company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse staff to ensure timely movements
- Maintain accurate records and logs of trailer movements as required
- Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment
- Adapt to schedule changes during busy seasons, including occasional overtime and Saturday shifts

- Valid Class A CDL required
- Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with drop and hook operations
- Strong commitment to safety and compliance
- Experienced CDL Class A driver with a proven record of safety and reliability
- Comfortable with frequent in-and-out truck activity
