Citrix Engineer - Summary

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain various Citrix environments, including Citrix Cloud, App Layering, and StoreFront.
- Manage Citrix Netscaler appliances in a GSLB configuration, ensuring proper network service functionality.
- Develop, maintain, and update documentation for Citrix configurations, standards, and operational procedures.
- Support Windows Server systems, including 2019 and 2022 versions, focusing on OS and application deployment and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with application teams to deploy, troubleshoot, and update enterprise applications.
- Troubleshoot Citrix-related issues, including user connectivity, resource access, and performance optimization.
- Implement automation and scripting using PowerShell and Python to streamline administrative tasks.
- Participate in regular audits and system reviews to ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and keep current with evolving Citrix technologies and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in systems administration roles.
- At least 4 years of direct experience with Citrix virtualization products, including administration and troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing Citrix Netscalers, particularly in GSLB configurations.
- Strong experience working with Windows Server 2019 and 2022 operating systems.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation, especially using PowerShell and Python.
- Excellent documentation skills, with the ability to develop and update technical standards and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to system optimization.
