Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist - Summary
- Permanent, full-time opportunity for a board-eligible or board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist.
- Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary mental health team.
- Daytime weekday shifts providing direct psychiatric care to children and adolescents.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments for children and adolescents presenting with a range of mental health disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications as appropriate, monitoring for efficacy and side effects.
- Collaborate with psychologists, social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide crisis intervention and support for patients experiencing acute psychiatric episodes.
- Engage with families and caregivers to provide education, support, and guidance related to mental health treatment plans.
- Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with established standards and legal requirements.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Completion of an accredited residency program in Psychiatry, with fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry strongly preferred.
- Board eligibility or board certification in Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
- Active medical license or eligibility for medical licensure.
- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating psychiatric disorders in pediatric populations.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
