Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) - Summary
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will lead the integrated revenue strategy for Listen Technologies, overseeing sales, channel development, partnership management, marketing alignment, and the customer lifecycle. This role is pivotal in driving both short-term results and long-term growth, making it essential for a candidate with executive-level experience, strong business acumen, and a track record of scaling revenue in B2B environments.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue strategies to support both immediate and future growth objectives.
- Own revenue forecasting, pipeline management, and the discipline of execution to ensure predictable revenue performance across multiple regions and channels.
- Implement pricing, discounting, and deal-approval frameworks to optimize profitability and deal velocity.
- Build, lead, and scale a high-performing, global sales organization, with a focus on expanding partner and channel programs.
- Represent Listen Technologies with customers, partners, and industry organizations, strengthening strategic relationships and expanding market reach.
- Establish and lead a scalable Revenue Operations function, including CRM management, analytics, reporting, and forecasting to ensure data integrity and actionable insights.
- Drive accountability and execution using data, dashboards, and digital workflows, and leverage AI and automation tools to enhance pipeline management and team productivity.
- Collaborate with Customer Success to increase retention, upsell opportunities, and overall customer lifetime value.
- Work closely with Marketing to align campaigns, lead generation, and customer lifecycle initiatives for maximum impact.
- Partner with Product and Product Marketing to ensure customer insights inform product development and roadmap priorities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and high performance, developing future leaders and strengthening the commercial organization.

Qualifications & Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, with at least 5 years in executive revenue roles such as VP Sales or CRO.
- Demonstrated success in scaling revenue for B2B technology or manufacturing companies.
- Proven ability to lead global and channel-based sales teams.
- Strong analytical, financial, and strategic planning skills.
- Expertise with modern business systems and collaboration tools, including Microsoft Teams, Excel, and CRM platforms.
- Experience using AI and automation tools to drive improvements in sales or revenue operations.
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% as required by business needs.

- Experience managing distributor, systems integrator, and OEM partner relationships.
- Familiarity with leading CRM and automation platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Dynamics.
