This Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) - OB contract assignment spans 26 weeks, with the possibility of extension based on performance and organizational needs. The assignment requires a minimum commitment of three shifts per week and three weeks per month. There is no on-call requirement, and credentialing can commence while Arizona licensure is in progress, streamlining your transition into this advanced practice role. The CRNA will be expected to demonstrate proficiency in managing high-risk obstetric patients, as well as flexibility in covering operating room assignments as needed, including during nights and weekends.

- Deliver full-scope anesthesia care, including high-risk obstetric and general operating room cases
- Provide anesthesia for adult and pediatric patients in a Level I Trauma center
- Participate in neuro/head case anesthesia as required
- Collaborate closely with an experienced multidisciplinary anesthesia team
- Demonstrate flexibility in covering both OB and OR assignments, including nights and weekends
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) certification required
- Minimum of one year of hospital CRNA experience
- Recent experience providing high-risk obstetric anesthesia care
- Comprehensive anesthesia experience across various case types
- Level I Trauma experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and OB/OR coverage
- Proven expertise in high-risk obstetric anesthesia
- Capacity to adapt to a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
