As part of the anesthesia team, you will provide services in both the operating room (OR) and non-operating room anesthesia (NORA) settings within a high-acuity academic center recognized for its robust service lines and commitment to patient safety. The work schedule is structured for optimal work-life balance, featuring steady block scheduling with primary shifts of 8 or 10 hours and the option to work 12-hour shifts. Major holidays are observed, and the position is designed to accommodate a predictable, consistent work rhythm with no call responsibilities.

The position does not require supervision of residents or teaching duties, allowing you to focus exclusively on direct patient care. Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide range of procedures, including general, orthopedics, trauma, plastics, neurosurgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, robotics, gynecology, and ENT
- Manage airways and perform invasive monitoring as indicated (arterial, CVP/CVC, PA catheter)
- Participate in a collaborative team model under medical direction
- Work with a dedicated anesthesia technician team for procedural support
- Document care using the Cerner electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Follow established protocols and best practices for patient safety
- Adhere to department policies regarding overtime and scheduling
- Engage in standard credentialing processes; no temporary privileges available

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active NBCRNA certification required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must be active)
- Valid Pennsylvania CRNA license required (IMLC not accepted)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as a CRNA with ability to work independently
- References required to verify clinical competency
- DEA registration not required for CRNAs in Pennsylvania
- Standard credentialing process with typical 90-day timeline
- No resident supervision or teaching responsibilities
