As a CRNA – Locum Tenens, you will work consistent weekday shifts with the flexibility to accommodate weekend schedules if preferred. The assignment is structured with 8-hour day shifts, with start times as early as 6:30 AM and regular completion by 3:00 PM, though late room coverage until 5:00 PM may occasionally be requested. The position does not require call, though optional call coverage is available for those seeking additional hours or experience.
This locum tenens role involves providing anesthesia care at two hospital locations, each offering a diverse case mix. At the first location, you will be exposed to a broad range of surgical specialties such as General Surgery, Orthopedics/Spine, ENT, Gynecology, Cath/EP Labs, Endoscopy, Pulmonology, Urology, Vascular, Robotics, and Podiatry. The second location focuses on General Surgery, OB/GYN, Urology, Cataract procedures, and Dialysis Access. Pediatric anesthesia is limited to well children aged three months and older, ensuring a safe and controlled environment for both patients and providers.
You will work within a medically directed anesthesia care model, collaborating closely with onsite anesthesiologists at both campuses. This model provides robust peer support and fosters the highest standards of patient care and safety. The healthcare system values flexibility and is open to accommodating CRNAs at either hospital campus according to operational needs and provider preferences.
To be considered for this CRNA – Locum Tenens position, candidates must possess an active South Carolina CRNA license and demonstrate comfort with a broad spectrum of general and surgical anesthesia cases.
