Palm Health Resources is seeking skilled and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) for a locum tenens opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities
- Administer anesthesia for a variety of procedures, including general anesthesia, obstetrics (OB), monitored anesthesia care (MAC), and epidural anesthesia.
- Manage GI and advanced GI cases, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Participate in robotic-assisted surgeries and demonstrate proficiency in advanced anesthesia techniques.
- Oversee ventilation and airway management, responding promptly to patient needs in critical situations.
- Place and manage central and arterial lines as indicated by patient condition and procedural requirements.
- Provide anesthesia care for minimal pediatric cases in alignment with facility protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to promote optimal patient outcomes in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Work at two healthcare sites, maintaining consistent standards of care and adapting to site-specific protocols as needed.
- Participate in a scheduled rotation for weeknight and weekend call coverage, ensuring timely availability for emergency or after-hours cases.
- Document all anesthesia services accurately in accordance with regulatory and facility requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is required.
- Active and unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses, with eligibility for credentialing at the assigned healthcare facilities.
- Demonstrated experience in general anesthesia, OB, GI, and advanced anesthesia cases.
- Proficiency in airway management, ventilation, central and arterial line placement, and monitored anesthesia care.
- Ability to participate in scheduled weekday and rotating call coverage, including occasional weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to upholding patient safety, confidentiality, and regulatory compliance at all times.
