Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) – Locum Tenens Summary
- Multiple inpatient sites across the Tucson region
- Full-time locum tenens assignment with ongoing duration
- Rotation between several community hospitals and surgical centers
- Collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment

Duties & Responsibilities
- Independently assess, plan, and administer anesthesia care for a variety of procedures
- Perform general, MAC, OB, regional blocks (preferred), spinal, epidural, and ventilator management
- Preferred skills include central/arterial line placement and peripheral nerve blocks
- Maintain and provide case logs for peripheral block experience; no additional training provided onsite
- Document all care accurately in Cerner electronic medical records system
- Rotate between assigned inpatient facilities as needed
- Participate in on-call rotation, including beeper call at select sites with a 1:5 call coverage ratio
- Respond to call-back needs, with an approximate 5% call-back rate
- Demonstrate flexibility with work shifts (8s and 10s), including weekend and night availability

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) license
- Active Arizona RN and APRN licenses required at start (no licensing candidates)
- Minimum of one year of post-certification CRNA experience
- Current certifications in ACLS and BLS from AHA or Red Cross
- Demonstrated independent practice competency in anesthesia
- Ability to provide logs of peripheral nerve block cases
- Residency more than 60 miles from assigned facilities
- Comfort and proficiency with Cerner EMR system

Other Relevant Information
