As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will have the chance to work within a tertiary referral program, contributing to a comprehensive surgical service that includes adult and pediatric patient populations. The assignment provides exposure to multiple surgical specialties, including trauma, neuro, orthopedic, cardiac, thoracic, vascular, obstetrics, pediatrics, and more. You will collaborate closely with experienced colleagues and medical staff, utilizing advanced clinical skills to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

This role offers a consistent, full-time schedule with no on-call responsibilities, providing an excellent work-life balance. You will be expected to cover scheduled clinical hours, committing to a minimum of three shifts per week. Shifts typically range from 8 to 12 hours, depending on procedural volumes, and you will be required to provide coverage throughout the month. Coverage will primarily be at a large tertiary hospital, with occasional shifts at a second hospital within the same health system.

As a CRNA in this position, you will be responsible for delivering safe and effective anesthesia care across a wide variety of surgical procedures. Your expertise in general, regional, spinal, and epidural anesthesia will be essential, as will your ability to manage complex cases involving ventilation, central and arterial lines, and acute hemodynamic events. Experience in a high-acuity trauma environment is especially valued for this assignment.
