As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will contribute to the delivery of anesthesia services in an advanced hospital setting, working alongside a multidisciplinary team. The role requires flexibility to cover various shift types and settings within the hospital, including operating rooms and specialized non-operating room locations. The position is available on a contract basis, with opportunities for ongoing assignments and professional growth within the organization.
The hospital boasts 21 state-of-the-art operating room suites and covers a wide range of surgical cases, such as trauma, transplant, orthopedics, neurosurgery, ENT, GYN, urology, robotics, and burns. CRNAs also provide coverage for non-operating room anesthesia locations, including imaging and interventional radiology suites. Utilizing EPIC as the electronic medical record system, the CRNA will work closely with physician anesthesiologists and other perioperative staff to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Administering general anesthesia for a broad spectrum of surgical procedures, including neuro, spine, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and urology cases
- Managing 3 to 5 anesthesia cases per day, as assigned
- Providing anesthesia services in 21 OR suites, covering all surgical specialties such as trauma, transplant, robotics, and burns
- Supporting anesthesia care in non-operating room settings, including CT, MRI, bronchoscopies, neuro-angiography, and interventional radiology
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, patient-centered anesthesia care in a hospital-based practice
- Utilizing EPIC electronic medical records for accurate documentation and care coordination
- Adhering to hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards
- Participating in ongoing professional development and training opportunities

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license and CRNA certification
- Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as a CRNA in South Carolina or a recognized nursing compact state
- Minimum of three years of recent CRNA experience in a hospital-based or academic setting
- Demonstrated proficiency in general anesthesia, neuro/spine, orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and urology
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records is preferred
- Ability to obtain hospital credentialing within 30-60 days; temporary privileges may be available
- Commitment to maintaining professional licensure and meeting continuing education requirements
