We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic anesthesia team in a full-time capacity. This opportunity offers you the chance to provide high-quality anesthesia care in both inpatient and outpatient settings, working alongside a supportive staff of healthcare professionals. The CRNA role is integral to ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical and procedural interventions. Our organization is committed to clinical excellence and patient-centered care, and we are looking for a CRNA who shares these values and is ready to make an immediate impact.
As a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA), you will be responsible for administering anesthesia to patients undergoing procedures such as endoscopy, general surgery, OB/GYN, orthopedic, pain management, urology, vascular, pediatric, and thoracic interventions. Your expertise will contribute to successful patient outcomes and a positive experience throughout the perioperative process. The position features a balanced workload of approximately 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient cases, allowing you to gain broad clinical exposure and refine your skills across a spectrum of specialties.
Full-time availability is required for this CRNA opportunity, with shifts typically scheduled Monday through Friday. However, scheduling flexibility is available to accommodate departmental needs and provider preferences. There is potential for weekday and weekend emergency department (ED) call, providing additional opportunities for professional growth and skill development. When on call, you may occasionally work solo, but this is a rare occurrence due to the robust support provided by our team, which generally includes three to four providers per day.
The CRNA will utilize the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system for documentation and communication, ensuring seamless coordination of care. Our hospital values the contributions of every team member and provides comprehensive support to facilitate your success, including full support staff and resources necessary for you to deliver exceptional anesthesia services. In addition, the hospital covers travel expenses, making this an attractive opportunity for those seeking to expand their experience in a collaborative and well-resourced environment.
The credentialing process is straightforward, with a typical timeline of 60 to 90 days for obtaining full privileges. Temporary privileges are available, allowing qualified candidates to begin working as soon as mid-June. To qualify for this Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) position, you must possess an active state license or a nursing compact license, along with the required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NBCRNA. A minimum of one year of CRNA experience is also necessary to ensure readiness for the diverse caseload and responsibilities of this role.
